Trama
Blue in the Face č stato girato nel corso di cinque giorni e ideato come seguito di Smoke.
Durante la produzione di Smoke, Keitel e gli altri improvvisarono alcune scene nel mezzo delle riprese e venne realizzato un sequel del film utilizzando il materiale improvvisato.
C'č ancora la tabaccheria all'incrocio di Brooklyn. Passano i soliti originali e diseredati: chi racconta, chi si fa scippare, chi fuma, chi espone la propria filosofia sul baseball dei Brooklyn Dodgers, sul piacere dell'ultima sigaretta prima di smettere di fumare, sulle cialde Belga, sugli occhiali da vista, sulle relazioni in una cittą grande e impersonale.
Ne esce un quadro di Brooklyn, cittą nella cittą, con una sua anima particolare.
